Passengers have been warned of potential disruption to travel as strikes are set to affect those flying to a popular destination tomorrow.
Strikes from staff at easyJet and Volotea are set to disrupt travellers to Italy, with more than 10,000 passengers possibly affected.
Thousands of passengers to or from Italy tomorrow are being warned of disruption.
It comes as a result of popular budget airlines easyJet and Volotea both due to see extensive staff strikes.
Dozens of flights may be delayed or cancelled, possibly affecting more than 10,000 travellers.
This is expected to be particularly disruptive for easyJet, who operate a major hub at Italy’s Milan Malpensa Airport.
EasyJet offers flights to more than 20 destinations in Italy, including popular getaway spots such as Rome, Naples, Milan, and Venice.
Volotea is also a major carrier in Italy, operating flights to 24 airports around the country.

Tomorrow, the airline is scheduled to operate 43 flights to, from, or within Italy any or all of which may be affected by the strike.
The easyJet staff are due to strike between 1pm and 5pm local time on Friday, while the Volotea strike is due to go on for 24 hours, covering the entirety of Friday.
Uiltrasporti, the union representing the Volotea workers that are walking out, is striking in protest of the refusal of Volotea to recognise the union after previous attempts at negotiation failed.
It says on the website: ‘Despite attempts and the revocation of a previous strike to foster dialogue, the negotiations initiated on October 3 and 14, culminating in the failed agreement on October 22, have not produced satisfactory solutions.’
Ivalyo Danailov, an air passenger rights expert and CEO of air compensation expert SkyRefund, urges affected travellers to check with their airlines, and to be aware of possible compensation, saying: ‘It is important that you check with your airline before travelling, and follow any recommendations they might give, as this will be the most up to date and useful information available for passengers.
‘Delays and cancellations may occur unexpectedly throughout the day, so checking regularly is the best way to make sure you are able to respond quickly if your travel plans are disrupted by a delay or cancellation.
‘Thankfully for affected travellers, flight cancellations, or extended delays that result from airline staff strikes are considered by European law to be within an airline’s control.
‘This means that passengers affected by such delays or cancellations are eligible for compensation from the airline.

‘There may also be delays or cancellations after the strike, as a result of the disruption caused to regular operations.
‘Passengers affected by these may also be eligible for compensation.
‘We recommend that passengers affected by a delay or cancellation use a compensation calculator in order to determine if you are eligible for compensation, and if so, for how much.’
A statement from easyJet said: ‘We are not expecting disruption as a result of the strike action and have contingency plans in place which means our flying programme is currently planned to operate as normal.’
