The new British Airways airport lounge in Dubai is, undoubtedly, a glamorous addition to the airline’s stylish approach to travel.
Located in Terminal 1 at Dubai International Airport and spanning nearly 5,800 square feet, the new space offers customers an elevated experience.
The lounge blends modern British design and inspiration from the UAE.
It boasts a full-service bar, Middle Eastern-inspired designs and world-class food.
Access to the lounge is available to British Airways’ customers travelling in Club World (business class) or First, the British Airways Club members with Silver status and above, and oneworld customers with Sapphire status and above.
The new space nods to traditional Middle Eastern style, featuring sweeping arches, patterned metal panelling and mirrored walls.
The lounge’s chandelier is framed by a mirrored ceiling in the main dining area, with the British Airways logo embedded above.
Washrooms are decorated with locally sourced geometric tiles, while seating options use British heritage fabrics.

Plus, if you are travelling first class or have Gold Guest List status you can pass through a private door to the Concorde Room – a so-called ‘million-dollar door’, The Telegraph reports.
Concorde Dining Room Customers travelling in First can also enjoy top-notch service in the exclusive Concorde Dining Room, accessible via this dedicated entrance.
The lounge also has a dedicated self-serving dining area offering a range of options including an Arabic breakfast, mezze selection, cakes and cheeseboard.
Customers can indulge in champagnes and crafted cocktails, such as a Dubai chocolate martini.
Coffee Planet, a UAE-founded coffee brand renowned for its premium Arabica beans, is available along with Birchall, the airline’s new global British tea partner.
The à la carte menu features Middle Eastern signature dishes such as Arabic mezze and sweet dessert, Umm Ali,.
There are also favourites on offer including a Concorde Wagyu burger and Scottish smoked salmon.
It’s not the only new lounge from the airline. British Airways has launched two new lounges on its global network, as part of its £7 billion transformation project.

The other new lounge has been opened in Miami International Airport, in addition to this Dubai offering.
Both lounges feature full-service bars, menus combining local ingredients with a British twist, and exclusive Concorde Dining Rooms.
It comes as the airline has injected significant recent investment in lounges, such as the refreshes in London Gatwick, Lagos, Singapore, Seattle, and Washington Dulles.
Ashley Dowell, design director, denior associate at Gensler, said: ‘We are honoured to have partnered with British Airways to carve the path for the global lounge concept being introduced around the world.
‘Hospitality driven and inspired by the heritage of British Airways, combined with the rich vibrancy of each location, the lounges will reflect a global journey framed through a British lens.
‘Welcoming, intuitive and bold, the new lounges offer a surprising retreat for travellers to relax, work and socialise in the midst of their travels.’
