One of Europe’s largest low-cost airlines is expanding, adding 16 new routes for next summer from eight UK airports.
Now in its 30th year of operations, the budget carrier is one of the largest airlines in Europe, flying more than 100 million passengers a year.
EasyJet is set to introduce its third route from the UK to Sal in Cape Verde from Bristol, joining existing services from London Gatwick and Manchester.
Flights from Bristol will take off from May 1, 2026 and operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
As well as this, easyJet holidays is offering package holidays on all routes, which will include return flights and accommodation.
EasyJet is also now offering new routes from Bristol to Bari, with flights starting from April 18 and to Seville from May 2. Both will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The airline has also introduced new services from Birmingham to Inverness starting on March 30 and Nice on May 1, both operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
From Manchester, the airline is launching new flights to Montpellier on March 30 and to Preveza on June 24.

From Liverpool, two new routes will take off to Lisbon on March 31 and Paphos on August 2.
A Southend-Jersey connection starts on March 30, meaning the airline will serve the island from eight UK airports.
Flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle from Stansted are to operate from March 5.
A Newcastle-Tenerife routes will start on August 1, bringing the network up to 20 routes next summer as easyJet opens a new three-aircraft base at the airport next spring.
In Scotland, the airline is launching four new routes from Glasgow, providing direct connections to Lisbon from March 29, to Pisa and Sharm El Sheikh from August 1 followed by flights to Malta from August 4.

It comes as European airlines could lean into the increasingly popular trend of ‘Extreme Day Trips’ in 2026.
Fans of the ‘Cinderella’ style adventures, which see travellers jetting off at dawn to European beach or city destinations before turning on their heels and returning to their own bed at night, say the trips have all the highs of international holidays, without the financial outlay.
With a raft of low-cost carriers – including Ryanair, easyJet, WizzAir and Jet2, already offering flights from as little as £15 each way, it’s feasible to see some of Europe’s most famous tourist spots for around £30 to £50 return, provided you can handle an airport twice in one day.
